Graphic colorwork and a sprinkling of cables adorn this cozy winter cowl. At a glance, the stranded pattern looks like stars. Look again, and you may be reminded of mosaic tile, lattice, or flowers.

Universal Yarn Deluxe DK Tweed Superwash (90% superwash wool, 7% acrylic, 3% viscose; 100g/284 yds)
418 Terra Cotta (A)- 2 (3) balls
407 Denim (B)- 1 (2) balls
410 Porcelain (C)- 1 (2) balls
Needles: US Size 8 (5 mm) 16" circular; or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker, cable needle, waste yarn, US Sizse H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook

PATTERN NOTES
This cowl begins with a provisional cast-on, is knit in the round, and the ends are grafted together to form a seamless tube. This makes for a neck accessory that is effortless to wear, as there is no wrong side. The long version (shown) can be doubled up when the icy wind kicks in.
